Empowering Young Minds for Biodiversity Conservation | SSVMWS

A total of 104 Students of Classes IX & XI from 12 schools in Coimbatore city participated in a Youth Forum on Biodiversity Conservation held on 29 January 2026 at Taj Vivanta, organized by the International Conference on Population and Genetics hosted by ICFRE- Institute of Forest Genetics and Tree Breeding, Coimbatore.Through a poster presentation on themes like Endangered Species and Role of Youth in Conservation, students showcased creativity, research, and environmental awareness.

SSVM World School , Coimbatore won the Third Prize, bringing pride to the institution.
The event was graced by Dr. Manimekalai Mohandass, Founder & Correspondent, SSVM Institutions, who encouraged students to actively protect nature.
SSVM Institutions was specially recognized for empowering students by providing them with the opportunity to participate in such a meaningful conference.An inspiring experience reinforcing the role of youth in safeguarding biodiversity.
